Refund & Returns Policy

At Nkwenkwezi Studio, we take pride in the quality of our products and carefully inspect all wigs before they are dispatched or handed over to customers.

Returns & Exchanges

Due to the personal nature of our hair products, wigs that have been worn, installed, cut, coloured, washed, chemically treated, heat styled, altered or otherwise used cannot ordinarily be returned or exchanged for change-of-mind reasons.

Where a return is permitted, the wig must be returned in its original condition and packaging, with all accompanying items included.

Nothing in this policy limits any rights or remedies available to customers under applicable South African consumer protection laws.

Incorrect or Defective Orders

If you receive an incorrect, damaged or defective product, please contact Nkwenkwezi Studio as soon as reasonably possible after receiving your order.

Please provide your order details together with clear photographs or videos showing the issue. We may request that the product be returned for inspection.

Where a product is confirmed to be defective or otherwise does not meet the standards required by applicable consumer law, Nkwenkwezi Studio will provide the appropriate remedy in accordance with South African law.

Please note: Normal wear and tear, damage caused by improper care, incorrect installation, excessive heat, chemical processing, colouring, cutting or alterations made after receiving the wig will not ordinarily be regarded as product defects.

Order Changes & Cancellations

Cancellation requests may be submitted within 24 hours of placing an order, provided the order has not already been fulfilled or dispatched. If you need to change or cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible.

After the cancellation period has passed, we may be unable to cancel or modify an order that has already entered processing or fulfilment. Any rights available to customers under applicable South African consumer protection laws remain unaffected.

Colour, Texture & Appearance

Please note that slight variations in colour, curl pattern, texture and appearance may occur due to lighting, screen displays and the nature of hair products.

For curly and waterwave wigs, the appearance and length of the hair may vary depending on the curl pattern and whether the hair is measured in its natural or stretched state.

Refunds

Where a refund is approved, it will be processed using the original payment method where reasonably possible. Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider or financial institution.
